Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager Commercial Rooftop Solar

(Hybrid)60000 - 70000

The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-growing London-based solar developer focused onbehind-the-meter commercial rooftop projects. AsHSE Manager youll take full ownership of Health Safety and Environmental practices across the businessboth in the office and out on site.

Youll work closely with internal teams and external contractors to deliver safe compliant and high-performing solar installations. This is a key leadership position with direct visibility at board level responsible for driving best practice and ensuring a culture of safety excellence throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee allHSE operations across the company from corporate compliance to live site activities.
Deliver and managetraining programmesfor staff and contractors ensuring everyone is equipped with the latest safety practices and qualifications.
Conductsite audits risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
Develop and maintain company-wideHSE systems documentation and incident reportingprocedures.
PresentHSE performance reportsand updates directly to the senior leadership team and board.
Stay on top of evolvingregulations and industry standards ensuring continuous improvement in safety systems and culture.

What Were Looking For

ProvenHSE experience within the solar industry ideally focused on commercial rooftop or behind-the-meter projects.
Strong understanding ofUK H&S regulations CDM and risk management in a construction or renewable energy setting.
Confident communicator and trainer able to engage and influence internal teams and subcontractors alike.
NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification is essential.
Comfortable in afast-paced environmentwith a hands-on proactive approach.
