About the role
Work with the Regulatory Reporting Officer on activities related to the integration of non-financial regulatory reports ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established regulations. Including the monitoring and applicability analysis of updates in reports derived from regulatory publications. Also assist in presenting required information for audits and supervisory activities by the authorities maintaining the highest level of quality in accordance with Nus principles!
What does a Regulatory Solutions analyst for Regulatory reports & demands do
- Analysis and data validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards for regulatory Reports.
- Provide support to prepare and submission accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities such as Banxico CNBV and CONDUSEF within specified deadlines.
- Has knowledge of which tables to find data related to the operation (includes the daily usage and construction of dashboards using tools like Databricks Quick SightQueries Big Query etc.)
- Desirable to be able to understand queries and programming in SQL/Scala/Python/R to review and identify the need for adjustments or changes.
- Understands their BU strategy and uses it to prioritize their teams tasks and projects.
- Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g.. KPIs OKRs etc.).
- Aptly manages low and medium complexity projects guaranteeing the agreed delivery timeline and communicating with all stakeholders.
- Prioritizes effectively and achieves defined targets adjusting priorities in response to changing circumstances.
- Creates documentation needed for projects.
- Is able to analyze data with the proper methodologies and design improvement projects based on them
Qualifications:
- Degree in Economics Actuarial Science Finance or Statistics with strong quantitative analytical experience.
- The candidate must have knowledge of Mexicos financial regulation (such as Banxico and CNBV rules) and capability to analyze how modifications would impact regulatory reports.
- Experience in regulatory reporting or compliance roles or a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- Oriented diligent organized and enjoys operational activities.
- Quick learner and proactive.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and show a passion for regulations.
