Synergie Australia is seeking a Mechanical Fitterfor our valued client whospecialiseinheavy fabrication Machining and support with extensive experience and capabilities in the defense and industry sectors..

The Stores Officer is a vital part of our team responsible for managing inventory and supporting workshop operations in a fast-paced setting.

This role involves receiving handling storing and dispatching goods while maintaining accuracy quality and compliance with all statutory requirements and the companys Safety Health and Environmental standards.

With strong attention to detail and a good understanding of workshop processes the Stores Officer ensures all incoming and outgoing items are thoroughly checked for correct products quantities packaging and condition.

This position requires forklift operation and a reasonable level of physical fitness as manual handling and coordination are key components of the role.

Pay rate: $30 -35ph Pens (Dependant on experience)
Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:00 with Potential of OT.
Location: Kewdale

Duties

As a Stores Officer your key duties will include but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading goods using a forklift

• Inspecting all incoming and outgoing items to ensure accuracy and quality

• Supporting customer satisfaction through thorough checks and timely dispatch

• Unloading sea freight containers and managing stock effectively

• Performing regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels

• Packing and wrapping pallets securely for safe transport

• Securing items on pallets to prevent movement or damage during transit

What we are looking for

What Youll Need to Succeed:

• Previous experience working in a stores or warehouse role

• A current forklift licence

• A valid Australian drivers licence (LR/MR is a bonus)

• A positive can-do attitude

• Good communication skills and an eye for detail

• The ability to work safely both on your own and with the team.
