Core One is seeking a Modelling and Simulation SMEto support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Employ M&S tools across the entire space of DOTmLPF-P to support industry-standard and trade space studies evaluating war fighter capabilities differing solution designs program recommendations and overall capability performance
• Develop alternative solutions and evaluations to inform decision makers and senior leaders on where to make force changes and apply limited resources to fill known capability gaps. Provide support to a wide variety of experiment campaigns in support of this effort
• Evaluate DOTmLPF-P to develop alternative solutions that may inform senior leaders on force changes resourcing and capability gaps
• Perform design development evaluation and analysis in such areas as distributed simulation object-oriented simulation model validation and verification and simulation and model development
• Implement and integrate appropriate M&S tool sets to support trade space studies evaluating war fighter capabilities differing solution designs program recommendations and overall capability performance
• Participate in experimentation-related forums working groups and external assemblies (i.e. Conferences technology shows etc.)
• Examine information to figure out what is relevant to a problem and what methods might be used to analyse it and provide recommendations to address the problem
• Travel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basis
• Prepare reports information papers and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (e.g. Outlook PowerPoint Word Excel and Access)
• Develop and maintain an electronic resource to include key points of contact to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or modelling and simulation
• 5 years experience designing implementing and integrating modelling and simulation tool sets in such areas as distributed simulation object-oriented simulation model validation and verification and simulation and model development
• 5 years experience utilizing C or similar programming language and software engineering employing tools and libraries for various operating systems
• 5 years experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. SharePoint Word and PowerPoint Access Excel etc.)
• 3 years of developing and presenting verbal and written products at military O5/civilian equivalent level
• Active TS/SCI
