YOUR MISSION

At Glovo we are looking for a passionate detail and results oriented professional to join our People department in our headquarters in Barcelona to support the People Controlling team and the interactions with the Finance team in their rapid growth phase. As part of the Global People Department you will play a key role in supporting the decision making process by controlling the execution of the budget and providing the internal departments with personnel cost reporting.

THE JOURNEY

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Review report and consolidate Payroll Costs monthly according to the Finance teams needs and deadlines.
  • Settle and improve control processes empowering data accuracy and time efficiency.
  • Help build re-structure and organize the data and reports needed in the People Controlling team to ensure timely accurate and insightful reporting and analyses.
  • Provide meaningful insights and support the monthly Global Personnel budget tracking (Actuals vs Budget) and variance analysis.
  • Together with the rest of the team run the annual Headcount Planning process as well as monthly Best Estimate activities.
  • Support the implementation of reporting solutions that facilitate the goal of automation and self-service.
  • Support several stakeholders within the Finance and People departments across the company with any ad-hoc requests.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE:

  • A bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or Accounting.
  • 4 years experience in Finance Audit or related Controlling fields.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • G Suite expertise (Sheets Presentations) Office Suite expertise (Excel).
  • Experience in the implementation of projects processes and procedures.
  • A proven track record strong business acumen and an analytical and proactive approach to solving problems and managing data.
  • The ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines with a sense of personal responsibility for delivering high-quality work.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Hands-on profile and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Workday and/or SAP.
  • Spanish language.
