Overview
Registered Nurse Hospital Outpatient Department: Infusion Center UnityPoint Health Des Moines
Primary Location: Methodist Infusion Center (may float to Lutheran Infusion Center)
Shifts Available
- Full-Time Days: 32-40hr/week
- Part-Time Days:16hr/week
Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time RN: $5000 paid over one year
Join our outpatient Infusion Center team where youll deliver skilled compassionate care to patients receiving infusion therapy. Youll also increase your skill set to provide care for a large range of outpatients including: GI Neuro Hem/Onc Infectious Disease Transplant and many more. As part of a collaborative clinical team of 20-30 colleagues youll support patients and families throughout their treatment journey.
We offer flexible scheduling to maintain Work/Life balance including a 4-day work week option!This is a day-shift-only roleno overnight shifts required.

Responsibilities
Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Healthwithinthe structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care functions as a Registered Nurse as defined in Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act. Provides nursing care for patients and families and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses Philosophy of Nursing at UPHDM within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.
Qualifications
Education:
- Current Iowa license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
- 6 months of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency
- Chemotherapy infusion experience preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire
- Successfully complete department specific certifications within one year of hire date
- Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
