Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting key financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger ensuring proper coding reconciliation and accounting for transactions.
- Perform month-end quarter-end and year-end close procedures.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.

Accounts Payable Management:

Oversee the AP process ensuring timely and accurate invoicing collections and reconciliation of vendor accounts. Also responsible for various AP reporting.

Accounts Receivable Management:

Assist with the AR process ensuring timely and accurate invoicing collections and reconciliation of customer accounts. Also responsible for various AR reporting.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability problem-solving and collaboration when working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a manufacturing or oilfield environment is a plus.
Proficiency in Epicor ERP is preferred; experience with other ERP systems a plus.
