Level III and Newborn Nursery - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner- South Florida - 12-hour Shifts

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Groupis seeking an experiencedNeonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team atWellington Regional Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to support both ourNewborn Nurseryand expandingLevel III NICU while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Floridas most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts rotating weekends
  • Staffing Model:
    • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
    • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
    • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
  • Responsibilities:
    • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
    • Attend high-risk deliveries
    • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a masters degree
