Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated hiring salary is $100000 - $103000 per yearand iscompetitive and negotiable depending on the strength of is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position.

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical dental and vision plans membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) sick and vacation time and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Athletics the incumbent will be responsible for the administration of an NCAA Division I Womens Soccer program to: (a) ensure the health well-being and academic success of the student-athletes; (b) develop and sustain a Soccer program that is highly competitive within the Pac-12 conference

with a goal of advancement to NCAA post-season competition; (c) negotiate and secure a strong non-conference schedule that includes an element of competition versus other competitive Division I programs.

Key Qualifications

  • Plan and direct the training and performance of team members.
  • Recruit and retain high-quality student-athletes.
  • Ensure that the program complies strictly with all NCAA conference University and Athletics Department rules policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and evaluate assistant coaches in the performance of their duties.
  • Ensure the health safety and well-being of the womens soccer student-athletes.
  • Properly administer the sports budget.
  • Monitor student-athlete academic progress.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree from an institution of higher education that is accredited by one of the six US regional accrediting associations or by an equivalent international institution of higher education.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in coaching womens soccer at the collegiate level preferably at the Division I level.
