About the Role

Based in BYDs Melbourne office in Mulgrave this role will support our Passenger Vehicle Planning & Logistics team. On offer is an Inventory Planning Specialist position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

    • Manage end-to-end vehicle purchase ordersfrom creation through to fulfillment and deliveryensuring alignment with internal teams and 3PL partners for accurate and timely execution.
    • Work with key stakeholders to maintain stock visibility across all stages: inbound in-warehouse and outbound.
    • Ensure inventory data is accurately reflected across all relevant systems and platforms.
    • Liaise with dealers to ensure all transactions are posted promptly and accurately.
    • Support stocktaking activities.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders on storage and fulfillment coordination.
    • Generate and analyze daily weekly and monthly reports to identify trends highlight areas for improvement and support operational initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through root cause analysis and support the implementation of changes in a fast-paced environment.
    • Prioritize and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines and maintain service excellence.
    • Assist in the preparation of shipping documentation and perform system transactions as needed.
    • Provide general support with ad hoc tasks and operational requirements

Key requirements:

    • At least 2 years of similar experience.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Have a high level of attention to details.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel.
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
