Our client is a specialist communications and branding consultancy built to help companies navigate the complex world of corporate and internal communications. They work primarily with highly regulated industries and operate more as an embedded partner than a traditional agency.

Theyre growing fast and are now looking for an Account Director a trusted strategic leader who can guide key accounts mentor a team and help shape the agencys growth. This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys solving complex communication challenges builds strong partnerships and leads with empathy and precision.

What the job involves...

  • Acting as the senior point of contact for major corporate clients and ensuring long-term trusted relationships

  • Leading account teams in developing and executing strategic communication and brand initiatives

  • Advising clients on positioning messaging and storytelling across corporate internal and digital channels

  • Overseeing multiple workstreams and ensuring that all projects meet quality budget and timing expectations

  • Partnering closely with strategy creative and content teams to ensure ideas are aligned with client objectives

  • Providing mentorship and direction to Senior and Account Managers

  • Leading quarterly business reviews and providing insight-led recommendations

  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and drive business development initiatives

  • Keeping a close eye on industry trends to ensure the agencys strategies remain relevant and forward-thinking

What you need to be considered...

  • 8 years experience in corporate communications PR or brand management with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or account director role
  • Strong B2B experience
  • Deep understanding of corporate environments and internal communications

  • Proven experience managing large clients and strategic projects from start to finish

  • Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills

  • Strategic thinker with excellent writing and presentation abilities

  • Comfortable managing budgets pitching work and driving growth

  • Relevant degree in Communications Marketing or Public Relations
