Salary: $62000$75000 (commensurate with experience)Our client a respected national business law firm is seeking a dynamic and professional Corporate Executive/Legal Assistant to join their busy corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skillset in an executive-support capacity with a strong focus on business development client relationship management and practice support for a senior partner.This role is ideal for a proactive organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external clients. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills a client-focused mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.Key Responsibilities- Provide business development support including scheduling meetings preparing travel agendas coordinating client events and managing gift distributions.
- Support client development initiatives by managing the partners LinkedIn presence including drafting posts monitoring engagement and identifying networking opportunities.
- Manage the client intake process including arranging conflict searches and preparing engagement letters and routine correspondence.
- Assist with practice management tasks such as time-entry oversight coordinating monthly billing cycles and implementing internal best practices related to financial and client management.
- Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling preparing materials for client interactions and liaising with internal departments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries track follow-ups and keep lawyers informed of client activity.
- Maintain and update client/matter lists electronic files and contact records in accordance with firm standards.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork confidentiality and accountability in all internal and external communications.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned with a positive and proactive approach.
Requirements- Minimum 4 years of legal administrative experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail accuracy and proofreading.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience with accounting or document management systems (e.g. Elite iManage) considered an asset.
- Strong grammar punctuation and written communication skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Legal Administration Certificate preferred but not required.
