What Youll Do: As a Staff Process Engineer youll be the driving force behind the development and execution of new General Assembly processes. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and will be responsible for defining process flows optimizing factory layouts and achieving key production metrics.

Lead technical efforts of teams focused on complex new process development.

Develop and execute a comprehensive assembly plan for new product and process launches.

Generate General Assembly PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Control Plans for all process steps.

Coordinate launch activities with both Plant and Vehicle engineering.
-
Help achieve defined volume worker density cost and safety objectives.
-
Identify trial and implement new tooling equipment and processes to improve manpower efficiency and quality.
-
Effectively manage Bill of Process and Factory Resources in 3DX DELMIA.
-
Maintain and execute MODAPTS time studies through ProPlanner.
-
Develop training programs for production associates.
-
Collaborate with Logistics to develop lineside layouts and maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) for efficient part delivery.
-
Work with specialized equipment including Robotics EOAT lift assists adhesive dispensation vision systems and metrology.

Assign Torque tooling and execute the complete tooling strategy for your area of ownership.

Generate detailed work instructions in Proplanner for all operators and stations.
What Youll Bring: -
Bachelors Degree in Engineering STEM or a related field or equivalent relevant education and experience.

8 years of related experience developing and launching complex assembly processes.

Extensive proficiency in creating clear written and pictorial manufacturing process documentation.

The ability to work well under pressure managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
