Job Title: Stormwater Project Engineer
Location: Denver CO
Prioritized must haves for the Stormwater Project Engineer:
#1. BS in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
#2. Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
#3. Minimum of 7 years of drainage design experience
#4. Experience with some or all of the following: Open Roads Designer SUDA Civ3D SSA CivilStorm SRH2D HEC-RAS HEC-RAS2D HY-8
Requirements for the Stormwater Project Engineer:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- Must be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado or have the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- At least 7 years of experience in drainage design.
- Familiarity with software such as Open Roads Designer SUDA Civil 3D SSA CivilStorm SRH2D HEC-RAS HEC-RAS 2D and HY-8.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- Experience collaborating with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
- Experience working with local municipalities.
- Knowledge of GIS technology.
- Proficiency in some or all of the following software: ORD SUDA Civil 3D SSA CivilStorm SRH2D HEC-RAS HEC-RAS 2D and HY-8.
Other Key Requirements:
- 100% on site
