Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care focusing on patients with neurological conditions. This role involves patient assessment medication administration and collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN will work in an acute care hospital setting adapting to meet patient needs and potentially floating between similar units.
Location:Burbank California United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Meditech charting system.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies.
- Float between similar units as needed to meet facility requirements.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Neuro experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with specialized equipment used in the facility.
- 3s-4s in skills checklist.
Special Considerations:

- Must be available to work every other weekend totaling 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.
- May be called off once per two-week pay period by the facility.
- Must be able to float between like units as needed.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
Scheduling:
- Shift type not specified.
- Schedule determined by facility needs.
- Open to accommodating block schedules per manager discretion.
