Job Summary
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to support automation and control systems in our state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology problem-solving and working hands-on in a production environment.
You will assist in the design programming and troubleshooting of automated systems that help streamline production processes ensure product quality and maintain operational efficiency. Youll gain exposure to various technologies including PLCs robotics vision systems and data acquisition platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with programming testing and troubleshooting PLCs HMIs and basic automation systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
Support installation commissioning and maintenance of automated production equipment.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve minor automation issues and improve equipment uptime.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
Help maintain documentation of control systems wiring diagrams and operational procedures.
Participate in process improvement and automation upgrade projects.
Learn and apply industry standards for safety quality and electronic manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automation Computer Engineering or a related field.
Basic knowledge of PLCs (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens) sensors and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes (SMT assembly testing) is a plus.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:
May occasionally require support during off-hours for equipment testing or troubleshooting.
