Travel: $1022.50/week
Local: $900/week

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Central Sterile Processing Technicianfor an exciting job in Cincinnati OH.

Responsibilities

Decontaminate clean and disinfect reusable medical instruments and equipment.
Operate sterile processing equipment such as sonic washers cart washers and sterilizers.
Retrieve and transport used instruments from clinical areas.
Assemble inspect and package surgical instrument trays.
Apply proper wrapping packaging and labeling techniques.
Operate and monitor steam and low-temperature sterilization systems (e.g. Sterrad).
Maintain accurate sterilization documentation and biological monitoring records.
Restock sterile storage and rotate inventory per policy.
Build and prepare surgical case carts based on preference cards.
Perform quality checks on processed instruments and carts.
Assist in training new team members and respond to urgent OR requests.
Follow all safety infection control and department protocols.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
CRCST certification required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a central sterile processing or similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of diverse sterilization methods and surgical instruments.
Strong attention to detail organization and teamwork.
