Job Summary
Position: Linehaul driver
ContractType: Permanent - 45 hours weekly

What Youll Do:
You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles all less than 4 years joy to drive and are equipped to a high specification including fridges leather seats and many more optional extras to make sureyourecomfortable.
Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday with 45 hour working weeks and9-hourshifts per day which typically start at5/6pm. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance whereyoullbe driving taking the stress out of your day.
Key Role Responsibilities
Wedontmicromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own job involves trunking to regional hubs on the night shift. So if you like the independence of being out on the open road for long stretches - but also want to be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift this is the job for you.
Youllmake sure Cages Pallets Freight Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on some sites the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at othersyoullneed to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
Youllbe responsible forinspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What Were Looking For
- Class 1 Driving licenceas a minimum
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Completed required DCPC training hours or be working towardsthem
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws - and commitment to safe use of the roads
