Job Summary
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Casual Dance Teacher to join our Performing Arts team. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and high-quality dance classes to students across various year levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching contemporary and jazz dance styles.
- Planning and delivering dynamic lessons that foster creativity and skill development.
- Supporting students in performance opportunities and school productions.
- Working collaboratively with the Performing Arts team to enhance the dance program.
Knowledge skill and qualification requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in teaching contemporary and jazz dance.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of varying skill levels.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A valid Working with Children Check or VIT registration.
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
