Role Description
The Pediatric Functional Skills Therapist supports student learning and independence by evaluating and treating functional skill deficits. This role ensures individualized therapy aligned with educational requirements.
Core Tasks
- Lead evaluations addressing sensory motor and cognitive performance.
- Create targeted care plans.
- Conduct student/family interviews.
- Document services thoroughly.
- Manage therapy supplies.
- Follow confidentiality guidelines.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Maintain professional development.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- SC OT license.
- Accredited OT education.
- 2 years school/pediatric experience.
- CPR certified.
- Strong organization & communication.
