Job Summary
Duties:
Maintain Inventory
- Organize and maintain inventory and stock control. They
- Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved and work practices amended.
- Monitor the performance of staff and raise any issues or further training requirements.
- Track the performance of the warehouse overall to ensure that it is running smoothly.
Monitor Shipments
- Responsible for monitoring shipments and deliveries which are maintained via an item record and documents.
- Utilize reports to maintain knowledge of the warehouse project statuses.
Communicate with Customers and Clients
- Communicate with customers should there are any issues with a delivery them to resolve the problem and ensure that the orders are fulfilled.
Warehouse Lead Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong people management skills work well as part of a team are able to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
- Provide clear verbal or written instructions so that the expectations of employee roles are understood.
- Strong numeracy skills to carry out these tasks efficiently.
- Customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving dispatching and in the quality of goods.
- Assist their team when necessary and are polite and helpful at all times to ensure a smooth running of the warehouse.
- Motivate their team provide guidance and delegate tasks which requires strong leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years in related field
3. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Must have moderate computer skills including working knowledge of Word and Excel.
5. Bilingual English/Spanish
