The Teacher (s) will be responsible for providing high-quality engaging and inclusive teaching for the assigned year group while acting as the primary point of contact for student care and academic progress of the students in the homeroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the curriculum (e.g. Pearson Edexcel) effectively ensuring that lessons are well-planned differentiated and cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
- Maintain a stimulating safe and orderly classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
- Monitor assess and report on students progress and attainment using both formative and summative methods.
- Take overall responsibility for the wellbeing of students in the class including monitoring behaviour attendance emotional wellbeing and social
- development.
- Communicate regularly with parents via school platform parent-teacher meetings and written reports.
- Coordinate and liaise with subject specialist teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed rigorously.
- Participate in school events staff meetings professional development and collaborative planning.
- Uphold school values and model high standards of professionalism conduct and ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education (.) or related field with a PGDE; additional ECD certification is an added advantage.
- 25 years of teaching experience preferably within an international curriculum such as Pearson Edexcel or British Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to deliver well-planned differentiated and engaging lessons.
- Proficiency in student assessment progress tracking and reporting using both formative and summative methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage parents and work effectively with specialist teachers.
- Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing safeguarding and maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
