Regulatory Reporting Analyst
For one of our clients a Fortune500 company we are hiring a Regulatory Reporting Analyst.
In this position you will play a pivotal role in supporting business intelligence efforts focusing on producing accurate and timely regulatory reports and driving process enhancements. This position involves regular interaction with internal stakeholders to ensure all reporting requirements are met efficiently while identifying opportunities for automation and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ad-hoc and recurring regulatory reports within set deadlines ensuring precision and compliance with relevant standards.
- Develop and maintain robust controls including data reconciliation and validation processes to guarantee high-quality reporting.
- Collaborate with diverse departments to gather data clarify requirements and address any regulatory reporting needs.
- Analyze business processes design and implement automation initiatives and contribute to ongoing reporting enhancements.
- Assess and integrate new data sources ensuring data quality and completeness often working closely with the data warehouse and analytics teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2years experience in business intelligence or data analytics with advanced SQL abilities.
- Practical knowledge of Python and a strong grasp of analytical methods including experience interpreting complex datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage quality control and error resolution in data processing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for documenting business requirements clearly.
- Proactive organized and capable of managing projects and timelines autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas pivot tables) and familiarity with tools such as Tableau or Superset.
- Exposure to regulatory audits tax-related processes or statistical techniques such as regression and statistical testing is an asset.
