Patient Registration Representative I, Part-Time

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:

• Communicates the admitting process to the patients.
• Assembles New Patient authorization and all electronic forms; verifies accurate and current patient information.
• Prepares schedules and daily appointments and records all information in patient charts.
• Checks insurance and collects co-pay or deductible per payment eligibility in computer system and/or using online tools to ensure correct and accurate data is collected.
• Responsible for sending provider referrals pre-authorizations and supporting documentation.
• Responsible for ensuring that opening and closing duties are completed such as cash drawer is open/closed equipment is turned on/off and doors are unlocked/locked for the day. Per clinic operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training in a medical/clinic practice or customer service preferred

Compensation:

• $18.00 - $20.70 per hour depending on education and experience.
• Discretionary bonuses relocation expenses merit increase market adjustments recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
