Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to determine appropriate anesthesia plans based on medical history and procedure type
- Administer general regional or local anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout procedures
- Document anesthesia care plans medications and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management strategies
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and adhere to best practices and safety standards
- Cases include Endoscopy Ortho General Surgery Urology Spine Vascular Surgery and ENT
Requirements
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- US-Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology
- Valid medical license in the practicing state
- Strong communication decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in monitoring equipment and anesthesia delivery systems
