Tenure - Temporary Part Time - Specified Purpose
Hours of Work 17.5 Hours the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service

Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare Newcastle Co. Dublin
Working Model - Fully Onsite
Remuneration - *Remuneration is in accordance with the salary scale approved by the Department of Health: Senior Medical Social Worker (3019). Current salary scale with effect from 1st August 2025: 70980 (point 1) to 81874 (point 7).
Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
Closing Date 12pm on Sunday November 23rd
Proposed Interview Date - To be confirmed - At least 1 weeks notice will be provided
Take Up Appointment - Successful applicant(s) must be available to take up the role within a reasonable timeframe

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the social work service to patients in Rehab Rheumatology in Peamount. They will report to the Principal Social Worker
* POINT ON SALARY SCALE
- New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale.
- Clinical and Therapy Grades: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service local authorities public service health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
