Worthing is looking for a full time Qualified Optometrist in the well established professional practise with high value customer base and patient care at the center of everything we do. Utilising the latest Optical equipments like the Optomap OCT and phoropters in our 4 testing room practise.
Tucked gently between Kents rolling orchards and its sun-lit chalk downs. Worthing is a village that blends classic English charm with a quietly growing health-focused communityan ideal place for an optometrist seeking both professional opportunity and an exceptional quality of life. Worthing also benefits from easy transport links to Canterbury Maidstone and even London. The practise boasts free parking within 15min walkoffering professional flexibility without compromising the peaceful Kent lifestyle
The team consists of 12 friendly and supportive colleagues with 2 DO 1 CLO and 1 other resident Optometrists.

- Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
- Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
- Providing enhanced services from triage support to advanced assessments depending on store needs
- Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
- Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
- Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
- Playing a key role in your stores leadership team bringing energy and insight to every shift
What youll need to have (our must-haves)
- Were looking for Optometrists who are confident compassionate and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.
- GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
- NHS performer number (or working towards it)
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration
It would be great if you also have
- Experience supporting enhanced services
- A strong understanding of local clinical networks
