Abbott Diabetes Care designs develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings and we have recently launched a new system that will revolutionise how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a STARS Technician to join our Product Test team in providing quality and compliant Sensor testing. Through visual inspection of sensors and undertaking a series of physical testing procedures you will utilise laboratory equipment machinery and instruments to perform sensor testing and batch record review and approval to support product release on-market stability complaints and product development trials.

You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment within a hard-working and welcoming team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can effectively multi-task whilst working within the scope of procedures and protocols and offer good communication and time management skills. This is a shift working role on a rotating pattern of early and late shifts (0and) on the following basis: Saturday to Wednesday.

To be successful you should have completed secondary education in English and Mathematics and preference will be given to candidates with a scientific based background although we would welcome applicants with transferable skills. It would be an advantage to have experience in a regulated quality oriented industry with experience of GLP and GMP but full training will be provided.
