Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the planning execution and delivery of projects at the project level. This role assists project managers in coordinating activities maintaining documentation tracking progress and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support project initiation planning execution monitoring and closure in collaboration with senior project managers.
Assist in developing project documentation including timelines budgets scope statements and risk registers.
Track project progress against milestones and budgets and help prepare status reports and presentations for governance meetings.
Coordinate project information management including data entry reporting and archiving in project tracking systems.
Support collaboration with internal and external partners on agreements deliverables and integration of services.
Contribute to financial tracking by reconciling invoices and monitoring project expenditures where applicable.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance team efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Science Allied Health Engineering or Communications.
Foundational understanding of project management phases (initiation through closeout).
Experience working in or supporting cross-functional (matrix) project teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); familiarity with Microsoft Project preferred.
Strong organizational communication and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a biomedical or research environment.
Exposure to project budgeting risk management and process improvement initiatives.
Experience with quality management systems or R&D governance frameworks.
Demonstrated agility collaboration and customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
