Assignment Duration:13 Weeks
Schedule:MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Must work one weekend every other month
Pay Rate:$42 $52 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP)to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality evaluation and treatment services for individuals with communication cognitive language speech and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
Manage and schedule patient caseloads based on clinical priorities.
Educate patients families and staff on communication and swallowing disorders as well as therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation department.
Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and professional reports.
Participate in community education and outreach activities related to speech and language pathology.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Pathology Required
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year Required
New York State Licensure in Speech Pathology Preferred
Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent Required
Minimum of 1 year of clinical fellowship experience
