Job Summary
Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg in Nashville Tennessee.
This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.
As a Forensic RN you will be responsible for:
- Compassionately communicating with patients and family members.
- Admitting and assessing patients
- Administering medication and treatments
- Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Running and ordering tests
- Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
- Charting Patient Progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
- Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
