Reports to: Facilities Manager

Position Overview: Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all company facilities and assets. This role involves monitoring and patrolling company premises managing access points and responding to security incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol company premises and designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees visitors and vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor access points verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
• Ensure the security of the companys fleet including trucks and trailers by conducting regular inspections.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.
• Maintain security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems ensuring they are operational.
• Report any security breaches incidents or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities observations and any incidents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security law enforcement or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act efficiently during emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Availability to work nights weekends holidays and cover open shifts as needed.

• Base salary range of $17 per hour
