Position Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our outpatient cardiology team in Daytona Beach Florida.
The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive evaluation diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting with a focus on quality outcomes and an excellent patient experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide outpatient cardiovascular consultations diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians advanced practice providers and nurses.
Participate in the development of care pathways and performance improvement initiatives.
Oversee and mentor advanced practice practitioners (PA/ARNP/DNP) as part of a team-based model.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to department quality goals.
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical practice preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Licensure: Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
Experience or interest in value-based care models.
Proficiency in electronic health records.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
