Job Summary

Augustine Consulting Inc. (ACI) is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of systems engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced self-starting Software Configuration Manager to lead our team that supports PEO Soldier.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an ACISoftware Configuration Manager you will have opportunities to interface with senior level customers Warfighters and leadership while performing the following functions:

  • Createupdateand maintain the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP).
  • Define develop document and implementthrough the Software Configuration Change Board all Configuration Management processes and procedures required to achieve the goals of the SCMP.
  • Select install configure document and maintain the ConfigurationManagementprocesses as directed and approvedby the SCCB.
  • Manage the Software Development Libraries (SDL).
  • Provide ongoing oversight validation verification and support for change management within the configuration management tools.
  • Train project personnel on the use of configuration management tools.
  • Provide all official releases to test or other external organizations as directed by the program leadership.
  • Perform the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).
  • Conduct Configuration Management reviews and audits Baseline Audits and In-Process Audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed a candidate must possess a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field and 20 years relevant experience Masters degree and 15 years relevant experience or a Doctorate degree and 5 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Software Suite to include JIRA Stash Confluence Bamboo
  • Strong knowledge in scripting
  • Strong knowledge of Linux Operating System
  • Strong knowledge of Android OS and Android application development
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating System
  • Strong knowledge of GIT and Subversion (SVN) version control system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience withDepartment of Defense networkssystemsand processes.
  • Experience with Tactical networks and mission command systems.
  • Experience with handheld mobile computing devices.
  • Familiarity with Soldier and/or other Army Mission Command and Control systems
  • Exposure to Software engineering processes/tools/methods Software design test development and/or support Operating systems system administration & network protocols Documentation Business tools and methodologies Troubleshooting and problem resolution Customer interfacing experience.

Pay Band Information:

$78500 - $173500

The ACI pay band for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of a specific compensation.
