Job Description

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking MRI Technologistfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Required Skills & Experience

Graduate of an AMA/ Radiologic Technology program
Active New York State Diagnostic Radiology License
A.R.R.T. MRI Registry certification
BCLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience with strong hands-on experience on GE MRI scanners
Prior experience in a hospital environment

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with hospital workflows protocols and imaging procedures
Strong communication patient care and critical-thinking abilities

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans using GE MRI systems
Review and screen patient histories safety questionnaires and contraindications
Position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures
Follow established MRI protocols and adjust technical factors as needed
Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any issues
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital standards
Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow
Provide excellent patient care and maintain a safe calm environment
Uphold MRI safety guidelines for patients staff and visitors
Assist with quality assurance procedures and equipment checks
