About the Role -This role requires hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to drive QA excellence explore emerging technologies and influence quality practices across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy -

Drive QA R&D initiativescontinuously explore evaluate and introduce new tools technologies and testing approaches.

Promote and implement innovative automation and AI-driven testing practices.

Mentor and guide QA/SDET team members to strengthen technical and testing capabilities.

Automation & Framework Ownership -

Design and develop automation frameworks for UI API and performance testing.

Establish standardized reusable baseline frameworks that can be adopted across GALE accounts.

Required Skills & Experience -

- 7 years of experience in QA automation and test strategy with proven SDET competencies.

- Strong understanding of functional testing concepts test design techniques and defect lifecycle.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language Python preferred (Java/JS acceptable).

- Strong hands-on experience with UI/functional automation using Selenium Playwright or Cypress.

- Ability to architect automation frameworks and set organization-wide automation standards.

- Hands-on experience with API automation using Postman/Newman Karate or RestAssured.

- Strong experience with performance testing (Locust JMeter or similar).

- Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation across relational databases.

- Conceptual understanding of AI/LLM models with a keen interest in leveraging AI for QA acceleration.

- Ability to think strategically challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
