Job Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join our growing
Product Management team. This is a challenging impactful and highly collaborative
position that sits at the interface of Product Science Engineering and MLreporting to
our Lead Product Manager. You will translate the platform vision and define the direction
across our teams to build and maintain BenchScis programmatic access offering.
BenchSci is a scientific data company and you will help pave the path towards realizing
our mission of bringing better medicines to patients 50% faster in the next few years .
Pay range: $150000 - 180000
We know compensation is an important part of choosing your next role. The range shown reflects our target hiring range informed by market data internal equity and the roles current scope. Often the mid-range is where we tend to fall but individual offers may vary based on experience skills and the role scope.
You Will:
- Develop strategy and roadmap for your team including but not limited to influencing our programmatic access offerings including API and/or MCP end points for scientific data access.
- Translate business objectives into user API/MCP technical and data requirements and related resources
- Partner with team members across the Platform Stream including senior leaders on the Science Product Engineering as well as other representatives from Go-To-Market to drive successful execution and adoption of complex solutions
- Measure and report essential metrics to internal stakeholders to demonstrate the value created by the team
You Have:
- 3 years preferably 7 years as a Product Manager with increasing responsibility on scientific data products. The preferred candidate will have done this while employed by a biopharma company or in close collaboration with a biopharma partner. Familiarity with graph and structured data preferably in scientific or health-care data
- A strong interest in science - particularly in biology
- Proven experience in productizing API offerings with a strong preference for candidates experienced in MCP offerings agentic architectures and driving external programs (e.g. partnerships beta testing developer community partner integrations).
- A proven track record in bringing clarity to a complex domain and driving agreements between technical teams and the business - you are an excellent facilitator
- Successfully taken new features from conception through launch to adoption engagement and retention
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes over outputs
- Experience in enterprise client-facing roles is ideal
- A data-informed decision-making process with the ability to identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
