Occupational Rehabilitation Therapist (Schools)

Location: Varnville SC
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 40 hrs/week
Weekly Gross: $2926

Summary

The Occupational Rehabilitation Therapist delivers school-based OT services aimed at maximizing student independence. Responsibilities include performing evaluations developing therapy plans and tracking progress toward educational goals.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments of motor sensory cognitive and daily living skills.
  • Create individualized intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with families and educators.
  • Set functional measurable targets for students.
  • Document all therapy interactions.
  • Maintain therapy supplies.
  • Follow HIPAA and district policies.
  • Complete ongoing administrative tasks.
  • Stay informed on OT standards and trends.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • SC OT license.
  • Accredited OT program graduate.
  • 2 years of pediatric/school experience.
  • CPR-certified.
  • Tech-savvy with strong communication.
