Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Reservation Agent to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our Reservation Department you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by managing bookings and providing exceptional service.
- Handle all reservations through various channels including phone fax internet and email
- Optimize room sales in line with the hotels sales policy and brand standards
- Provide a warm welcome and assist guests with their inquiries and requests
- Manage the reservation process following brand-specific procedures
- Enter reservation details accurately and efficiently into the system
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Confirm reservations and handle written communications professionally
- Stay up-to-date with hotel promotions packages and special offers
- Assist in maximizing room occupancy and revenue
- Resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar customer service role
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems preferably Opera or similar platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Guest-focused personality with a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality management is a plus
