As an IT Support Technician youll be part of our Onsite Technology team ensuring seamless IT operations in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems values collaboration and takes pride in providing world-class service. Youll work hands-on with hardware troubleshoot complex issues and act as a trusted partner for our business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for end-user devices including PCs handheld RF scanners Wi-Fi access points printers and collaboration tools.
- Handle 2nd and 3rd level desktop and infrastructure support via ServiceNow tickets ensuring SLA compliance.
- Act as local coordinator for hardware/software rollouts and updates.
- Maintain accurate asset records in the central CMDB and manage lifecycle updates.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Support VIP users with enhanced service delivery.
- Participate in projects and contribute to process improvements across regions.
- Provide remote or onsite support for other locations as needed including occasional travel.
- Join the on-call rotation to ensure business continuity.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: 23 years in IT support within large global organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 VPN Citrix mobile devices and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Familiarity with WLAN/Wi-Fi setup Active Directory and IT infrastructure components.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration tools (Teams Rooms video conferencing).
- Basic server and network troubleshooting skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification (or understanding of service delivery concepts).
- Excellent communication problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency and ownership.
