We are seeking applications for an Administration Assistant to join our Patient Services team on a casual basis.
The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive and collaborative administrative support to the Patient Services Administration team in the completion of clerical functions for patients admission through to discharge and provide a high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
The Position
Capacity to understand and willingness to support and promote the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Contributes to and is involved in Quality Activities with a focus on best practice.
Participates in determining and evaluating the quality of care being delivered to patients.
Provide sensitive management of the reception area dealing with patients and other stakeholders who inquire about the service and welcoming patients who come for appointments.
Manage the telephone lines and sensitively handle telephone calls from patients.
Rotary House bookings and payments
Assist with patient account payments
Fleet car bookings
Receipt payments as per directed by the Front Office Manager for accounts in relation to services pertained.
Successful applicants must have previous night shift experience excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong computer literacy. Experience working with Health Funds and Patient Management Systems will be highly desirable.

We can offer you
Hourly rate: $38.71 to $39.81 (including casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
