Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse Progressive Care for a job in Fort Myers FL.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a 18-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care including cardiac respiratory and complex medical conditions.
Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Administer medications manage drips as appropriate and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
Maintain compliance with clinical regulatory and facility standards.
Requirements:
Active Florida or Compact RN license (recent Nursys verification required).
35 years of PCU experience required.
Minimum 2 previous travel assignments required.
BLS & ACLS certifications required.
Degree must be from an accredited program or candidate must have 5 years of PCU experience.
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred.
Strong clinical judgment communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced PCU setting.
