ABOUT THIS HYBRID MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST ROLE

This hybrid role typically requires a work schedule from Sunday to Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM. However we ask that you and other team members be available on an as-needed basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This includes periodic responsibilities for after-hours coverage both over the phone and in person.

Your day revolves around collaborating with the CN Guidance Youth ACT Team to provide tailored services for youth facing severe emotional challenges and their families. You assess needs create individualized service plans and deliver culturally sensitive treatment. Engaging in assertive case management you offer counseling crisis intervention and psychoeducation meeting clients in their communities or at the office. You maintain case records adhere to regulations and participate in staff training to promote inclusion. A highlight includes planning community integration trips that empower youth and strengthen support systems ultimately enhancing therapeutic outcomes and equipping families for lasting progress.

HOW TO BECOME OUR MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

You might be perfect for this hybrid position if you can also meet the following qualifications:

• Masters degree in counseling related field or social work
• Permit in Social Work Mental Health Counseling Creative Art Therapy or Marriage and Family Therapy accepted license preferred.
• 2 years of experience working with individuals who are chronically mentally ill (Masters level)
• 1 years of training and/or experience in integrated mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment
• Competency in substance abuse family support or vocational/educational rehabilitation
