Food & Beverage Attendant | Kō Restaurant | Full-time

Providing inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions.  As a Kō Food & Beverage Attendant you will be a hospitality ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine inspired by our diverse culture and island home.  The support you provide to the multiple outlets including table & supply maintenance beverage service and food delivery will help us showcase our passion and accomplish our mission of turning moments into memories.

Hourly Rate:  $22.21

What you will be doing:

• Adhere to daily checklist and duties assigned
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience to include but not limited to running food table maintenance and beverage service
• Clear and reset tables in a timely manner while adhering to the State of Hawaii & EHC (Environmental Health Consultancy) food handling safety standards
• Ensure the proper set up and break down of all side stations in the venue
• Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up
• Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on property
• Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions
• Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand

Schedule:  Due to the nature of the hospitality industry employees are required to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel. 

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment desirable. 
• Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language.
• Requires good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced high volume environment.

Licenses or Certificates          

• TB Clearance required
• Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification required 

Education

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training
