The Senior Master Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective management integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners. You will be deeply involved in logistics planning forecasting and building strong vendor relationships.

This position reports to the Manager of Material Master Data and is part of the Business Operations team located in the United States. This position will be onsite at our Duncan SC facility.

What You Will Do:

• Create extend and monitor the accuracy of material data utilizing the SAP Process Workflow and assist facilities with any material master data queries or issues.
• Manage data creation and changes using the MAGIC Material Master Data application ensuring that plant data queries are supported.
• Monitor the correct application of Global Best Practice rules for material master data and participate in Kaizen events.
• Contribute to maintaining smooth operations of the Material Master Data Team performing any other duties as needed.

Who You Are:

• High school diploma or GED or Bachelors degree.
• 2 years of experience with SAP Material Master Data software including experience with product registration BOM routing purchasing records and source lists etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel (pivot tables V- lookups reporting out) and PowerPoint.
• Adept with problem solving exposure to continuous improvement/DBS is highly preferred.
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with mass data load tools in SAP.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
