| General Summary: |
| Performs plumbing work including installing maintaining and repairing plumbing and heating systems. |
| Essential Duties: |
Installs new plumbing including pipes valves drains basins faucets lavatories sinks drinking fountains hot water heaters and a variety of other plumbing fixtures and equipment; Repairs plumbing systems including pipelines; Repairs chilled and heated water systems; Repairs various appliances including laundry and kitchen equipment; Reads and interprets blueprints and written instructions; Provides assistance to building maintenance as needed; And confers with supervisor concerning construction alteration maintenance and repair projects. |
