Who You Are

Were looking for a seasoned Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor with:

4 years of technical experience
Leadership experience in a veterinary setting
Strong emotional intelligence organization and people skills
A love for pets and a genuine enjoyment of working with humans
A fast-paced learning style and a go-getter attitude
Charisma and the ability to build trust with clients and teammates
Clear confident communication in person and over the phone
The ability to stay calm on hectic days
A self-aware approach to burnout prevention

What Youll Do

This role blends leadership with hands-on technician work. Youll work 3640 hours per week Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays and occasional cat boarding

Your leadership responsibilities include:

Training mentoring and coaching the technical team
Ensuring protocols and medical standards are followed
Supporting medical knowledge client communication and workflow efficiency keeping the practice manager aware of team needs and challenges
Overseeing surgery and treatment area operations
Managing appointment flow
Ensuring staffing and schedule coverage
Conducting 45- and 90-day reviews quarterly reviews daily huddles and weekly
BAM meetings
Maintaining a supportive professional and positive environment

Your technical work will include:

Assisting doctors in appointments
Scheduling your team
Surgical prep and anesthesia for surgeries and dentals
Phlebotomy and PRP
Radiographs (dental and full body)
Laser and PulseVet therapy
Educating clients
Fear Free handling
Vaccinations nail trims cytology and ear treatments
IDEXX in-house lab work & machine maintenance
Prescriptions and pharmacy support
Housekeeping and team support
Welcoming puppy and kitten appointments
