Job Summary
EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services including payment infrastructure custody mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer who will contribute to the quality of our mobile applications by combining manual and automated testing practices. The role involves close collaboration with product development and DevOps teams to ensure reliability stability and seamless user experience across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs feature smoke and regression testing for the mobile application ensuring full coverage of new and existing functionality.
- Participates in the development and execution of automated tests using modern frameworks and tools.
- Supports and optimizes existing automated test suites to maintain their reliability and relevance.
- Runs automated tests analyzes results and provides clear feedback to the team.
- Contributes to test planning test design practices and preparation of testing reports.
- Applies understanding of the full software development lifecycle and actively collaborates to improve testing processes.
- Uses knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies to work effectively within the development cycle.
- Clarifies verifies and analyzes requirements with product managers and developers to identify potential issues early.
- Creates detailed defect reports and verifies fixes to ensure consistent quality.
- Executes the full testing cycle based on expertise and established testing standards.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in software testing including a minimum of two years focused specifically on mobile applications; experience with cross-platform apps is considered an advantage.
- Strong proficiency with Android Studio and Xcode for mobile testing and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions along with foundational knowledge of DevOps principles.
- Proficiency with error-tracking and log-analysis tools including Logviewer Sentry or ELK.
- Practical experience in writing mobile automated tests using Flutter Appium Espresso or XCUITest; familiarity with Flutter test is a significant plus.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies processes and best practices with experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- A responsible proactive and ownership-driven approach to tasks.
