We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is designed with an open and flexible scope ideal for a candidate who can support multiple functions across the production cycle including Desktop Publishing (DTP) Quality Control (QC) and basic graphic design tasks. The ideal candidate is eager to learn adaptable and capable of contributing to operational efficiency in a fast-paced localization environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing formatting and finalizing multilingual documents using industry-standard DTP tools.
Apply layout corrections formatting adjustments and visual consistency checks.
Support the production team with file conversions template preparation and layout redesigns when needed.
Perform basic QC checks on translated and formatted files to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to project requirements.
Review visual and layout elements to ensure correct alignment spacing RTL/LTR direction and proper typographic standards.
Support senior QC and operations team members in implementing standard processes and quality guidelines.
Create or edit simple visual materials such as icons diagrams banners and layout elements.
Collaborate with DTP and multimedia teams to ensure design consistency across projects.
Utilize design tools (Photoshop Illustrator or similar) for minor production-level tasks.
Education & Background
Diploma or bachelors degree.
Certification or proven knowledge in graphic design is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of DTP tools (Adobe InDesign Illustrator Photoshop or similar).
Familiarity with file formats used in localization (PDF IDML DOCX PPT etc.).
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Soft Skills
Strong willingness to learn and grow within operations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving mindset and initiative.
