WithumsTax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international US federal state and local regulations counting our affiliation with HLB international allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business Individual State & Local tax R&D Tax Credit as well as International and Private Client services.

This Senior Manager role will be based out of ourHouston TX office. Youll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned well-known CPAs and industry this position you have an opportunity to build a strong team and be provided with a path to Partnership.

Howyoullspendyourtime:

Providing tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients on the tax implications of their U.S. and international operations
Leading client relationships and interactions.
Managing and driving the success of multiple international tax engagements
Managing multi-state complex C corp tax returns with international operations and potentially partnership tax returns
Experience with FormsFinCEN114 and other international reporting forms.
Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal domestic and international and state compliance issues
Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
Identifying tax planning opportunities including international tax planning
Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
Coaching and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
Seeking and developing new clients and business development

Thekinds ofpeoplewewant totalk tohavemany ofthefollowing:

Bachelors degree in accounting and CPA license orMaster of Science in Taxation
8 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Manufacturing distribution industrial & consumer products or energy client experience preferred
Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing fast-paced interactive results-based team environment
Strong leadership training and mentoring skills coupled with excellent verbal written and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients management
Excellent analytical organizational project management skills and strong attention to detail
